My favorite tools for working with your photos

You rocked your photoshoot and now you have a gorgeous gallery of professional photos to use. But now what? You may be wondering how to create a long banner for your website with photos that don’t quite stretch that far. Or how to easily make a reel for instagram from your favorite shots. Not to worry! I’ve got you covered with some of my favorite tools for doing just that and so much more.

Canva

Hands down the easiest way to work with your photos! You can create website banner layouts, put your photos into instagram posts, create covers for your reels. I recommend uploading your entire shoot to your Canva account and you’ll have them all there ready to go :) If you have a Canva Pro account, you can use my absolute favorite feature - “Background Remover”. In one click you can cut out an image of yourself and then overlay it on a design or text. If this is something you want to do make sure you discuss it ahead of time with your photographer. It works best if they shoot in a specific way to begin with.

Lightroom Mobile App

You don’t need to have an Adobe account to download and use the basic features on this app. This tool is great for making any adjustments to your image that you want. Your images that your branding photographer should be ready to go but this is a great way to match images you take on your own to the professional images you have.

Snapseed

This photo editor app is super easy to use. So if you find all of the sliders and options in Lightroom Mobile too confusing, head over to Snapseed to make any adjustments to your photos. It’s incredibly intuitive and easy to use!

InShot

Want to create a reel for instagram but don’t feel like shooting a video? Tell a story through your branding photos with InShot. This is the easiest video editing tool I’ve found to create a slideshow with photos.
