My hands. What am I supposed to do with my hands?

And why do I feel like my smile looks more like that one really stressed emoji than a normal human smile? Oh, god! Now I can’t stop thinking about my breathing! Am I breathing weird? Why am I such a freak!

…so. Branding portraits, huh?

I’ve been a photographer for more than 16 years, and if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that no one is REALLY an easy, breezy cover girl in front of a camera lens. Everybody has that one thing they want to hide, that one discomfort they’ve suddenly become way too aware of, that one moment of doubt before the camera clicks. But with the right guidance behind the lens, I believe this experience can be a blast! Portraits are a dangerous place, so don’t go in alone!

After graduating with my BFA from the University of Georgia and more than a decade spent honing my craft in New York City and my hometown, Atlanta, I’ve mastered lighting, angles and that intangible something-something that turns a photo into something so much more. I’ve refined my skills in product photography in a pitch-black room with nothing but my kit and the latest Jarrod’s jewelry line and learned the delicate art of posing while photographing high-end Manhattan weddings. But what I’ve discovered truly captivates my heart is brand photography: the opportunity to showcase some of the most incredible products and services, and the astonishing women behind them.

Everything about my process, from the location selection to the stroke of my retouching brush, is done with your ultimate joy in mind. I want the experience of scrolling through your final gallery to make you feel your most beautiful, your most powerful, your most invincible.

When I’m not clicking away with my camera, you can probably catch me on a hike with my husband, playing race cars with my four-year-old nephew or diving into the latest self-development book or podcast with an old fashioned cocktail in hand.

Photography has taken me on so many thrilling journeys that I never would have imagined possible when I was playing with film for the first time in the UGA darkroom. I’ve showcased beautiful products, traveled to breathtaking locations and met some of the most remarkable people (including her royal highness, Dolly Parton! Ask me about it…I can’t wait to share!). And now, I can’t wait to meet you, too! So, get in touch, and let’s tell your story!
